Three steps.
One calmer project.

FixBrief is not a chatbot and not a project manager. It is a translator between what a client says and what you actually have to do next.

01

You paste the message

Whatever arrived: a WhatsApp paragraph, an email thread, or a voice-note transcript you typed out. FixBrief does not need tidy feedback, and it never asks the client to use a portal.

FixBrief compares it with your agreement

Your saved scope is the only reference. Each request is marked in scope, potentially extra, or unclear, with a one-line reason you can act on. It never claims extra work is billable and never invents contract terms.

You review, edit and reply

Tasks are yours to rename, re-estimate or dismiss. Statuses move from To Do to In Progress to Completed. The reply is a draft: read it, adjust the tone, copy it, and send it as yourself.

Four revision requests: two on the logo/brand palette, one layout fix, and one content request for five additional social posts.

Enlarge the logo in the header

In scope

Client feels the logo gets lost at the top of the page. Increase presence without breaking the header rhythm.

Brand Medium 1-2h

Darken the brand green

In scope

The current green reads too bright. Shift the palette to a deeper, calmer green across brand assets.

Brand High 1-2h

Fix mobile layout issues

Unclear

The client saw a broken layout on their phone. Needs a pass over the mobile breakpoints.

Development High 3-5h

Design five additional social posts

Potential extra

Five more posts in the same series style. This sits outside the five posts in the original agreement.

Content Medium 4-6h

Scope radar

The original scope is clear enough to classify the requests, but the mobile issue is not described precisely, so one question will settle it.

Questions to clarify

  • Which pages looked broken on mobile: the homepage, the work page, or both?
  • For the five extra posts, should I keep the same series style as the first five?
  • Should the deeper green replace the current green everywhere, or only on the logo?

Ready-to-send reply

Hi! Thanks for the notes, really helpful. Here's how I've read the list: • Logo size and the deeper green: both easy, I'll fold them into this round. • Mobile layout: I'll do a full pass, but could you tell me which pages looked broken so I fix the right ones? • Five extra social posts: the first five were part of our original plan, so the extra five would be additional work. I can send an estimate for those separately. I'll start on the logo and colour updates today and come back with a preview.

Before you start.

Is the AI deciding what I bill?

No. FixBrief only compares new requests with the scope you typed in. It labels requests in scope, potentially extra or unclear, and explains why. Every price and contractual decision stays yours.

Where do my projects and client messages live?

In your private account. Each project, analysis, task and reply belongs to the signed-in user who created it, and nobody else can open it. Nothing is published to the public site.

What if I never wrote down the original scope?

Add it when you create the project. Even one sentence helps. If the scope is too vague to compare against, FixBrief says “needs clarification” instead of guessing, and gives you questions to ask.

Can I edit what the AI produced?

Everything is editable: task titles, descriptions, categories, priorities, scope labels, hour estimates, questions and the reply itself. Your edits are saved as you go.

Do I need a credit card to try it?

No. Create an account and run your first analysis. The public demo shows a saved sample so you can see the shape of the result first.
